A creative workshop for women and non-binary people centring the body as the first sanctuary in navigating ageing, insecurity and change

In an economy where homeownership is increasingly out of reach for many, women over 55 have become the fastest-growing demographic needing homelessness assistance. This workshop invites women and non-binary people over 45 to come together, look inward, and reimagine the body as a refuge even as financial factors can seem to move further and further beyond control.  

Celebrated performance makers Kate Sulan (Rawcus) and Ingrid Voorendt (Back to Back Theatre) will lead an intimate group in a series of creative tasks. They’ll use a series of writing and visual prompts as the jumping-off point for conversations and movements that invite us to reach within for inspiration and anchor ourselves.
