Looking for something new and fresh to read this Summer? Whether you’re after your next favourite work of fiction, or to learn something new from our non-fiction collection, if you tell us what you like to read, we’ll find some things you’ll enjoy! My Book Bag is the perfect way to discover new series and hidden gems.


Special information: 

  • Ages: 12- 24 years  
  • Participating libraries: Matatiki Hornby Centre or Tūranga 
  • Cost: $FREE
  • Register: Sunday 01 December 9am to Sunday 08 December 11.55pm 
  • Collection/Pick-up (ticket dates): Wednesday 18 December to Sunday 22 December - during library hours.
  • Christchurch City Library Membership is REQUIRED: Books will be issued to participants Christchurch City Library membership.
