My First Job Program with The 1530 Network

Come and join us for an interactive session in learning how to navigate the experience of applying for your First Job with confidence.

The “My First Job” Program is specifically focused on empowering young people. It is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to secure their first job and excel in the workplace.

The 1530 Network provides personalised mentorship and motivation services. Anne Marie, from The 1530 Network, and Michelle Bloom, from Group Training Organisation mteSA, will co-lead the session and provide their knowledge and expertise to better assist young people with the process of connecting to potential employment opportunities. 

Pizza and snacks will be provided.

Age Range: 14 to 30. 

Requirements: Please bring your own laptop or device.

Spaces are limited so bookings are essential.

There will be potential opportunities for participants to continue with three 1-on-1 support sessions after the conclusion of this workshop. Please contact the Coordinator, Youth Programs, for more information.
