Support and protect your small business with expert advice from our 4 key speakers.

You’ll learn small business basics and how to understand your finances, find out what support is available to you and where to turn when things don’t go to plan, get advice and tips on managing the cost of living, find support when changing careers and learn how to protect your small business from cyber security threats.

There will also be a deep dive into the Women’s Financial Toolkit and the Return to Work Toolkit to explore trusted resources that can help you. These include how to navigate debt, where to find free financial counselling services, help with career changes, support returning to work after an extended time off and guidance on running a business.

Sandra Blake

Sandra Blake is a founding member of the Small Business Debt Helpline. She previously worked as a generalist financial counsellor, a rural financial counsellor, an older persons financial counsellor, a university financial counsellor and as a librarian. Sandra also operated a printing business in partnership with her husband. She lives and works on her own farm.

Danielle Davenport

Danielle Davenport

Danielle Davenport has a passion for people and property. She was the owner of a large independent real estate agency with 5 offices and more than 100 team members. Danielle was number 17 on BRW’s top 50 Australian entrepreneurial women and number 70 in BRW’s fastest growing 100 businesses. She transitioned away from business ownership to more community-based roles, raising money for charities and was recognised for her efforts with the Telstra Community award. More recently Danielle and her husband have been working with Rotary to increase the mental health services that are available to youth in regional NSW.

Elena Hunt

Elena Hunt

Elena Hunt works in the Policy & Strategy team at Women NSW, the lead government agency for advancing gender equality in NSW. She supports Women NSW to maintain and promote the Women’s Financial Toolkit and Return the Work Toolkit. She has previously worked for health non-profit organisations and has an academic background in public policy

Jacqueline Wilson

Jacqueline WIlson

Jacqueline Wilson leads stakeholder engagement at ID Support NSW, where she helps to coordinate the NSW Government response to large scale data breaches. She and her team work regularly with small businesses, organisations, peak bodies and industry to reinforce the importance of keeping personal information safe to prevent data breaches, while providing best practice strategies to respond if a data breach occurs.
