Join us for a cultural burn at Myall Creek Memorial Site, with insights into grassy woodlands and a chance to connect with local knowledge and community.
Event details:
North West Local Land Services and Michelle McKemey, in partnership with Friends of Myall Creek Committee, Anaiwan Local Aboriginal Land Council, and Gwydir Shire Council, invite you to take part in this meaningful event.
This event offers a unique opportunity to connect with community and learn about cultural burning practices. Our team will also share insights into grassy white box woodlands - an endangered ecological community.
Additional details:
Please bring along a hat, long sleeved shirt, long trousers, solid shoes and water bottle.
