Supporting Good Settlement Outcomes for Young People

Young people who arrive in Australia within humanitarian contexts have unique needs that require specialist support.

Join us for a two day workshop exploring how to apply the National Youth Settlement Framework (NYSF) in your practice.

In this facilitated training you will increase your:

1: Understanding of the current refugee and migrant experience for young people

2: Understanding of the current Australian settlement context

3: Understanding of youth work in the Australian context

4: Facilitation of good youth settlement through active youth participation

5: Facilitation of active youth participation through good practice capabilities

6: Ability to meet like-minded professionals and grow your professional network

Workshop dates:

1. Tuesday, 29 April 2025 10:00am - 4:00pm

2. Wednesday 30 April 2025 10:00am - 4:00pm

All participants must attend both workshop dates. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. 

All participants receive a certificate of attendance following the two day workshops.
