La Bodega is a new location at MycoFest that will feature your host, MycoSymbiotics, our team, including Mycopop, DelightFull Company, and others. This is a dinner hosted by Mycopop founder, Allen Davies. Dinner is first come, first serve. Eating available on site or as you please. We will be serving dinner from 5pm to 9pm. We will be serving 8 people every hour. Once you buy your ticket, someone from the team will reach out to you to schedule your dinner hour!

In this hands-on session, we’ll explore fungi as collaborators in the creation of materials that are grown, not extracted. Using pre-inoculated GIY (Grow-It-Yourself) mycelium kits and a range of simple tools, participants will sculpt small-scale objects through freeform shaping or by using simple molds. Folks can make a range of introductory forms from planters to candle holders, packaging prototypes, or decorative bowls and more. Along the way, we’ll reflect on how working with living materials invites new approaches to design, care, and collaboration with the more-than-human world. This workshop is for anyone curious about fungi, materials, and making. No prior experience needed!
