Tired of trying to meet new people through a screen—or just looking for a reason to get out and do something different?
Mystery & Mingle is a 21+ social night at The Micro Experience Co. designed to bring people together in a fun, relaxed way.
Whether you're looking to make new friends, meet a potential date, expand your social circle, or simply enjoy a night out, you're welcome here.
Instead of awkward introductions or traditional speed dating, you'll be placed into a small group of up to 8 people to take on the Emily Harper Mystery together. When possible, mystery groups will be arranged around similar and compatible age ranges.
You'll search for clues, solve puzzles, laugh, work together, and get to know the people around you without the pressure of figuring out what to say to a stranger.
Before and between mystery sessions, guests will have the opportunity to hang out and mingle in our social area, giving you a chance to meet people outside of your assigned group too.
Come alone or bring a friend. You don't need a date, a partner, or a group to participate.

- Do I have to be single?
Mystery & Mingle is designed for adults looking to meet new people, whether that means making new friends or potentially finding a date. Please be respectful of everyone’s reason for attending.
- Can I come alone?
Absolutely! Coming alone is encouraged. You don’t need a partner or group—we’ll help place you into a mystery team.
- How are mystery groups chosen?
Each Emily Harper Mystery session holds up to 8 people. We’ll do our best to group guests with people in similar/compatible age ranges based on registrations.
- Is this speed dating?
No! There are no timed interviews or awkward rotations. You’ll meet people naturally while solving a mystery together and mingling before and between sessions.
- What if I’m only looking for friends?
That’s completely fine! Mystery & Mingle is about making connections—friendship, dating, or simply meeting more people in the area.
- Why is Mystery & Mingle 21+?
Mystery & Mingle is specifically designed as an adult social night for meeting new people, making new friends, and potentially meeting a date. To maintain an adult atmosphere, this event is strictly 21+. A valid photo ID may be required at check-in.
- Do I have to participate in the mystery?
The Emily Harper Mystery is a big part of the event and serves as an icebreaker, so we encourage everyone to participate with their assigned team.
- Can I bring a friend?
Yes! Just remember that Mystery & Mingle is designed for meeting new people, so you may not necessarily be placed in the same mystery group.
