Indie TTRPG Double-Shot: The Mystery Business
Description
Join Worlds 4 All for a Halloween-inspired cartoon mystery!
The Mystery Business is a d100 system inspired by old school cartoons like Scooby Doo and cheesy "whodunnit" mysteries. When you realize mystery is afoot, you'll work together with your friends to uncover clues, attempt ridiculous hijinks, and probably end up in way over your head as you try to unmask the truth! While you'll undoubtedly find yourselves surrounded by scary situations and nefarious schemes, this game has is a relatively cozy tone and is designed more for running, hiding, and setting outrageous traps than for combat situations.
There are five (5) player spots available for ages 18 and older, and we love to play with people of all experience levels, even if you're brand new to TTRPGs! You can sign-up on your own and get to meet new people or buy a few tickets and come with your friends. We will provide everything you need to play and explain all of the rules as we go.
The cost for this double-shot includes 2 sessions, each of which runs from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Please ONLY sign up for this event if you can make both session dates:
Wednesday, October 21st
Wednesday, October 28th
Worlds 4 All is a woman, Latine, and queer-owned creative event service that specializes in professional TTRPG facilitation. We intentionally work to tell stories that move beyond harmful tropes rooted in violence, power, racism, and oppression, and we strive to make every gaming table a safer and more inclusive space for all players by using a variety of safety tools to set clear boundaries, preview game themes, and accommodate accessibility needs.
Side Quest Books & Games is a woman and queer-owned fantasy shop full of magical books, indie TTRPGs, and nerdy knick-knacks, located in Bow Market, Union Square, Somerville, MA. We will have the entire venue to ourselves for this private event, and you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy while we play!
