Return to the Soul Self: A Myth & Movement Day Retreat by the Sea
Event description
Return to the Soul Self: A Myth & Movement Day Retreat by the Sea
A day retreat to come home to yourself with a community of like minded women, by the sea in Burnett Heads.
Remembering What Matters
In the busyness of daily life, it’s easy to drift far from our own wild soul, from the rhythms of our body, the voice of our hearts, and the sacred stories that remind us who we are.
This retreat is a gentle return. A sacred remembering.
The Retreat
Rooted in myth and guided by movement, breath, and ritual, this experience is an invitation to reconnect with your inner world; the one that has been waiting for you beneath all the doing, tending, and giving. It is time to nourish yourself.
Held by the sea and experienced facilitators, you will journey through the feminine myth of Sealskin, Soulskin, a tale that speak to soul loss, reclamation, instinct, and return. This myth will guide us as we tend to the parts of ourselves that long to be remembered and reinhabited.
Through breathwork, gentle movement, storytelling, journaling, creative ritual, and shared meals, you’ll be held in a nurturing space to listen deeply, move slowly, and soften back into your sacred rhythm.
There comes a time when a woman must pause, not to escape her life, but to find herself within it again. Because rest is not a retreat from life, but a sacred return to what makes life meaningful.
This retreat is for you if you’re longing to:
Reconnect with your body, your breath, and your inner self
Weave soulful self-care into your life in a way that feels nourishing and real
Remember the stories that awaken your wild, wise, instinctual nature
Share sacred space with other women on a similar path
Rest, reflect, and restore your relationship with your own soul

Answering the Soul’s Call
Come if you feel the call.
Come if you’re tired of holding it all.
Come if you need time to remember who you are without the performing, pleasing, or producing.
This is your invitation to return, to the breath, the body, the story, and the soul.
The return to you.
Online Integration Session
Three weeks after our time together by the sea, we will gather online for a 90-minute integration session.
In this gentle space, you’ll be invited to listen to the myth of Fox Woman, a tale that speaks to instinct, longing, and the art of staying connected to our most sovereign self. We’ll explore its symbolism and reflect on the threads of self-care, cyclical living, and soulful rhythm.
This session is also a space to share how the retreat has continued to echo through your life, to witness one another’s unfolding journeys, and to offer and receive support. Together, we’ll ask:
How do we live with one foot in the sea, and one foot on shore?
A moment to remember, to reconnect, and to gently integrate all that has been stirred.
