Event description
Medical Check in and Connect
Virtual Medical MyTime with Kindred
About this event
Are you a parent or carer who is navigating the health and medical systems with a child with disability, developmental delay or neurodivergence?
Join this peer group discussion to connect with other families with similar experiences. Medical MyTime is a safe space for you to share your hospital and healthcare experiences, seek advice, and find validation and healing. It's a great way to build a supportive community of people who understand what you are going through.
This event is facilitated by Pam
Pam lives in Canberra with her husband Tom and their four children. Their nine-year-old son, Christopher, was born with Congenital Cytomegalovirus. They enjoy spending quality time together as a family, creating special memories and raising compassionate humans. Pam is passionate about empowering new mothers and carers to own their choices.Â
She is currently studying to become a qualified birth, postpartum, and end-of-life doula to work closely with and better support families facing difficult diagnoses in utero, neonatally, and beyond.
