Are you looking to connect with other parents and carers who truly understand what it’s like? Our sessions are facilitated by experienced parent facilitators and while you may see different facilitators across the term, the focus remains the same: a safe, welcoming space to feel heard, supported, and understood.

Virtual MyTime brings parents and carers together to talk and connect

Guided by a facilitator, with space to hear from others, share your own experiences, or just listen.

This peer group discussion is not recorded, to respect and protect participants’ privacy.

Who this peer group is for

Parents and carers living in Australia raising children with disability, developmental delay, Autism, rare and genetic conditions and high medical needs.

This group is facilitated by Emily

Emily is a parent of two, with her eldest identified as Gifted, ADHD and Autistic. She walks alongside other parents with kindness, encouraging self-compassion and honouring the uniqueness of every family’s journey.

Through MyTime I’ve found a community of parents who understand and support each other’s journeys. We share our challenges, wins, strategies and resources. It’s been so helpful and so supportive.
It’s powerful to hear real life stories and learn about strategies and resources from other families. Sessions like these offer hope, support, validation and belonging.
I felt instantly welcomed and supported by the facilitator and other parents. Loved it so much, felt like a very safe and supportive group.
