Career Pathways for Carers: MyTime Online
Event description
Career Pathways for Carers
MyTime Online with Kindred
About this event
Sarah from Carers NSW will be joining MyTime to discuss Career guidance and employment pathways to support carers returning to the workforce
The Career Pathways for Carers project provides person-centred career guidance and support to assist women carers in identifying, working towards and obtaining paid employment in roles and industries that align with their skills and interests.
Join this peer group discussion to ask questions and learn more about the supports available to help you overcome the barriers to entering or re-entering the workforce.
* The Career Pathways for Carers initiative is for people identifying as women, aged 15-64, residing in NSW.
This event is facilitated by Bree
Bree is a mum of two children. Her second child Dax was born with Congenital Cytomegalovirus (CMV). She has lived around Australia before settling on the south coast of NSW with her family.
Bree and her partner Mitchell love the outdoors and will always find a way to include Dax in their adventures along with their daughter Dylan.
Who is this event for?
MyTime is for parents and caregivers raising a child with disability, developmental delay or who is neurodivergent.
During a MyTime session, there is a guided discussion and a space to connect with other families. These discussions offer an opportunity for parents and caregivers to share and learn from each other.
