MyUni foundations for teaching staff - assessments, marking and the gradebook

Create, organise and grade assessments in MyUni.

The MyUni (Canvas) gradebook and associated assessment features provide a set of robust and reliable tools for setting up, grading, and tracking assessments and results.

Learning objectives

In this workshop, you will be supported to:

• configure various assessment types, including quizzes and assignments, with scores, weightings, and due dates

• establish assignment groupings that align with the assessment requirements specified in the course outline

• create tracked assignments that do not contribute to the summative gradebook scores

• utilise settings for managing assignment visibility, availability, and dates

• review and grade assignments using rubrics.
