Spacey's Lounge is the newest live stage at Campsie Spaceship - Creative Gymnasium.

The theme for this evening is Aliens, Abductees, and Astro-Ambassadors.

Launch our venue into inner-space with the groove masters:

• cosmic saint-like and multi-talented Dr Robot (from the Year 9,000,000) and

• horrifically charming bass demon Myxi Bun (from the place where time does not exist).

Pop down to Campsie, shake off the gravitational pull of the week, and enjoy the phenomenon that is the SPACE-SHIP.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Campsie Spaceship is a new type of gymnasium that needs to be seen to be believed.

This is a grungy DIY space where members and guests explore human capability and connection.

The Spaceship offers a zone of fluidity where physical improvement meets mental and emotional evolution.

Bringing together like-minded, neurodivergent, experimental thinkers and believers, the Spaceship bridges the gap between the pretentious existence we are born into, and a truly-embodied reality we all long to share.

Physical health and recreation is not limited to our bodies, but access to the Spaceship is limited, requiring the use of legs and stairs to board.

ABOUT THE LOCATION: CAMPSIE: HOME OF THE CAMP AND FABULOUS

Some call it the "new marrickville".

Others have no idea where it is.

We call it, the centre of all things.

Food is available in Campsie all night.

For thousands of years, people hunted possums in Campsie with stone axes, making possum skin cloaks and farming root vegetables along the banks of the Cooks River. Those people, their families, and their ways of life were recently displaced by European settlers acting under the brutal protection of the English royalty, which continues to rule to this day. Within a short period of time, the new settlers had destroyed the beautiful forests and wetlands, breaking the chain of wisdom and learning passed down for generations on this land.
