NAIDOC 2021: Healing Country! Challenging concepts of European land ownership via First Nations farming partnerships in NSW

Reconciliation NSW is pleased to partner with KWM to invite you to join this interactive online panel to discuss the 2021 NAIDOC Theme: Heal Country, heal our nation.

This year's theme calls for stronger measures to recognise, protect, and maintain all aspects of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and heritage. This webinar will focus on expanding the understanding and appreciation of Indigenous agriculture beyond traditional farming, expanding to Western Indigenous agricultural systems. Indigenous people across Australia own 40% of Australia’s land mass and play an important contribution to the broader agricultural network, continuing this relationship since colonisation. This panel seeks to highlight and discuss a broader approach to Indigenous engagement in the agricultural sector.
