NAIDOC (National Aboriginal Islander Day of Observance Committee) is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and an opportunity to recognise their contributions in various fields.
This year the national NAIDOC theme for 2020 is Always Was, Always Will be.
NAIDOC 2020 invites all Australians to embrace the true history of this country – a history which dates back thousands of generations.
Join Uncle Eddie Peters in an interactive workshop of Torres Strait Islander's dance, music and culture. It will be a great day of learning and experiencing the Aboriginal culture of the Torres Strait Islands.
Wear comfortable clothes, bring water and a sense of adventure. :)
