This live online training session is for NAPLAN test administrators within NSW schools.

Test administrators should be trained prior to their first scheduled NAPLAN testing session (13 March). Test administrator in-school training resources are accessible via Schools Online.

The course will provide:

• information on test administrator roles and responsibilities
• information on managing and administering a NAPLAN test session
• comprehensive hands-on training within the platform on test administration features and functionality
• information about the range of resources available to support and train staff.

Who should attend?

Attendance is recommended for staff who will be acting as a NAPLAN test administrator and have not previously attended NAPLAN training.

It is recommended that staff taking on multiple roles (such as NAPLAN coordinator and test administrator) also attend NAPLAN coordinator training – live online (3.0 hours) found here.

Duration: 2.0 hours

How do I join the session?

This session will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. The Microsoft Teams link will be sent as a calendar invite and included in a reminder email after registration. You can join the session online by selecting the link.

This is an interactive session. Prior to the session, please ensure that your camera and microphone are working so that you can actively participate.

Please log into the session 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to check that your technology is working.

What will I need?

It is recommended that you take notes during the session, either on the interactive participant workbook on another screen or on a notepad. 

Training resources will be available during the session; however, the participant workbook and other supporting resources are also available for download from Schools Online.

Can I enrol in any session?

Yes, you can enrol in any training session that suits your local school schedule.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?

If you wish to cancel or change your booking, you will need to contact us through the event page by selecting the relevant enquiry type (for example, “I want to cancel my ticket”) from the dropdown menu.
