Napurrula

A new exhibition, ‘Napurrula’ begins at Mitchell Fine Art in Fortitude Valley on 18th February with a special focus on celebrating International Women's Day. 

The exhibition highlights the artists' connection to the Napurrula skin name – a significant cultural identity that ties them to their family, clan, and ancestral land. The works of the featured artists - Tatali Napurrula, Narpula Scobie Napurrula, Mitjili Napurrula and Lorna Fencer Napurrula, brings forth the richness and diversity of Aboriginal culture.

The gallery is open 6 days a week from Monday to Friday 10am to 5.30pm and Saturday 10am until 5pm, with onsite parking available. Art lovers can sign up to the gallery's mailing list via the website to receive information on exhibitions and events or follow the gallery on Facebook and Instagram.
