Lately I’ve become dissatisfied with “workshops” as the best vehicle for nourishing our ecological identity and love of Country.
I’ve wanted to get closer to the kind of Earth-honouring ceremonies practiced by all indigenous peoples to regularly slough off our social selves, sink our roots into the living Earth and remember and celebrate the glory of our wild nature.
That is … can we create a culture in the Sydney/Newie area around the experience of the work that reconnects and deep ecology, which is more aligned with what people have always done throughout time, a culture that is aligned with nature?”
Just like a deep ecology weekend, we will follow the Spiral of the Work That Reconnects (Gratitude, Honouring our Pain for the World, Seeing with New Eyes, Going Forth, Gratitude) with different facilitators for each process.
Please join us March 16 to take the next steps in transforming experiential deep ecology into a regular cultural event echoing the ritual ceremonial life of indigenous peoples and our own indigenous ancestors.
