Upcoming Information Session: Postponement update
Thank you for your ongoing interest and contributions to the development of the new National Best Practice Framework for Early Childhood Intervention.
The project Consortium has spent just over 12 months reviewing best practice guidance in early childhood intervention as well as talking to stakeholders about their experience and ideas. This has resulted in the development of a comprehensive framework including a broad range of supporting materials.
As well as researching existing practices in Australia and overseas, the work included extensive consultations with families, professionals, organisations, peak bodies, researchers, and other interested stakeholders. The team received a great many generous and thoughtful contributions. The Framework is stronger for all this input.
The total package of material was delivered on time to the Department of Social Services. The Department is now seeking endorsement from all ministers and governments concerned. We will update you as soon as we have more information. In the meantime, the consortium has planned a public webinar to explain the Framework’s development, content and supporting tools and resources. While we are not yet sure when we will hold the webinar, we will do so as soon as we possibly can.
For those already registered, Humanitix will hold your ticket and re-issue it when the new date is settled. For those wishing to register – we will share the new date as soon as possible. Please be assured that everyone understands the importance and urgency of the work.
For information on the development of the Framework, visit the Healthy Trajectories website ECI page.
