Travel instructions

Arriving by Train PARKROYAL Parramatta is approximately a 10-minute walk from Parramatta Train Station. From Parramatta Station: Exit the station via the main concourse. Follow signs towards Church Street. Continue along Church Street towards the Parramatta CBD. Turn right onto Phillip Street and continue to PARKROYAL Parramatta at 30 Phillip Street. The route is generally level and includes pedestrian crossings, footpaths and kerb ramps. Guests using wheelchairs, mobility aids, assistance dogs, or requiring step-free access may prefer to take a taxi or rideshare from the station if needed. Arriving by Car PARKROYAL Parramatta is located at 30 Phillip Street, Parramatta NSW 2150. Guests arriving by car can be dropped off directly at the hotel entrance. A designated Accessible Drop-off / Pick-up Zone will be available to the right of the hotel car park entry and will be clearly signposted on the day. Paid parking is available for guests at the discounted rate.

Entry instructions

PARKROYAL Parramatta can be entered directly from Phillip Street. To access the hotel entrance, guests can use: Stairs An accessible ramp A wheelchair lift All options lead to the hotel lobby on the ground floor. From the Hotel Car Park Guests arriving via the hotel car park can use the lifts to travel to the ground floor. Once you exit the lift, follow the signs to the hotel lobby and Summit registration area.

After entry instructions

Upon entering the hotel lobby, SSI staff will be available to provide directions and assistance. Please make your way to the Summit Registration Desk, where staff will: Check your registration Provide your name badge Answer any questions Signage will be in place throughout the venue to assist guests in locating: Registration Accessible toilets Quiet room Main conference room - Governor's Ballroom If you require assistance at any time, please speak with a SSI staff member.

Hazards

We have completed an accessibility review of the venue and have taken steps to minimise potential barriers where possible. The street outside the hotel includes a gutter that does not have a gradual kerb transition in some locations. Guests using wheelchairs, mobility aids, scooters, assistance dogs, or those with limited mobility should take care when crossing and may prefer to use the designated accessible drop-off area. A designated Accessible Drop-off / Pick-up Zone will be available immediately adjacent to the venue. The drop-off area is located to the right of the hotel car park entry and will be clearly signposted on the day. SSI staff will be available throughout the day to provide navigation and accessibility support.

Toilet location

Accessible toilets are available on both the Ground Floor and Level 1. Toilet Facilities in the Conference Foyer Please note that the toilets located within the main conference foyer area are accessed via stairs and may not be suitable for attendees who require step-free access. Ground Floor Accessible Toilet From the hotel lobby: Turn left and enter BAR30 & Bistro. Turn right into the corridor. The unisex accessible toilet is located on the left-hand side of the corridor, at the second door on your left. Level 1 Accessible Toilets Take the lift from the Ground Floor foyer to Level 1. Exit the lift and turn left, passing through TABLE 30. Continue towards the corridor and turn left. The accessible toilets are located on your right-hand side, immediately after the function rooms. Additional Support If you have difficulty locating the accessible toilets, SSI staff will be available throughout the day to provide assistance and directions. Signage will be displayed throughout the venue to assist guests in locating accessible toilets and other accessibility features.

Accessible parking

Accessible Parking Accessible parking spaces are available within the PARKROYAL Parramatta car park. To access the parking area, enter the hotel car park from Phillip Street and follow the signage to the accessible parking bays. Accessible parking is located on Level 1, with additional accessible parking available on an upper level of the car park. Paid parking is available for guests at a discounted rate. Guests using accessible parking can access the hotel via the lifts, which provide step-free access to the Ground Floor foyer and event spaces. Please note: Photos and a visual guide to the accessible parking locations and route to the venue entrance will be included in the accessibility guide to assist guests in planning their visit.

Assistance animal relief area

A designated Assistance Animal Relief Area will be available within the hotel car park for attendees accompanied by assistance animals. The area will be clearly identified and SSI staff will be available on the day to direct attendees to the relief area as required. If you are attending with an assistance animal and have any specific requirements, please contact the SSI team prior to the event so we can support your participation.
