National Day of Disabled Action - Toowoomba
Event description
* THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED*
The National Day of Disabled Action, happening on the 3rd of October is a national moment for us to reflect on the current disability legislation, the recent Disability Royal Commission and NDIS. More than this, it is an opportunity for young people with disabilities to come together, form new connections and stand in solidarity with each other. We will have range of art activities, including painting a banner, painting supplies, bracelet making and more. We will be at Newtown Rose Garden as this is more of a quiet location, under the large gazebo so out of the sun. We can also provide any accessibility requirements if needed, just email us at wrna.day@gmail.com . The best way to enter is through Potting Street where the accessible car parks and toilet are located. Check out this blog for some more access information for the park:https://www.inclusionaccess.co...
