This is a free online event for people with disability, their families, and carers, and others who are interested.

The 'National Disability Insurance Scheme – Home & Living Supports' session is a presentation and discussion on accessing NDIS home and living supports. We will look at:

  • How the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) can assist you with Home & Living supports - from funding of specialist disability accommodation, to assistance with ‘individualised living options’
  • How to apply for Home & Living supports
  • Making complaints regarding housing and support provision
  • Pending changes to the NDIS

------

'National Disability Insurance Scheme – Home & Living Supports' is one of a series of sessions being delivered through the Opening the Door project for the NT. Other online sessions include a session on pathways to housing, and one on dealing with tenancy issues. Online sessions will be recorded to view after the events.

These will be followed by a face-to-face workshop in Darwin on 18th August.
