The National Folk Festival is a longstanding, family friendly celebration of all aspects of folk music and culture in Australia. It is held every year during the Easter long weekend at the Exhibition Park in Canberra.

The National Folk Festival is a hub for the Australian Folk community where folks come to perform, share and develop folk traditions. We serve an evolving community that values participation, learning, listening and creating. We value the diversity of folk traditions in Australia, including First Nations culture and traditions, and traditions brought during colonisation and through subsequent and ongoing migration.

Be part of the National Folk Festival and experience the magic of live performances, workshops, and cultural showcases. Purchase your tickets now and join us for an unforgettable celebration of traditions while embracing the spirit of folk music and dance. Immerse yourself in the heritage of generations past and present. Let the rhythms and melodies weave stories of our shared human experience.
