National Mosque Open Day 2024
Event description
National Mosque Open Day (NMOD)
The Lebanese Muslim Association invites you to join us for the National Mosque Open Day! On this special day, mosques across Australia will open their doors to welcome people from all walks of life—regardless of faith or background.
Participating mosques include: Lakemba, Cabramatta, Young, Regents Park, Rahma Mosque Guildford, Parramatta (NSW); Slack’s Creek (QLD); Hobart (TAS); Palmerston (NT) and Cranbourne (VIC), who will all simultaneously open their doors to members of their local communities – regardless of their religious beliefs.
National Mosque Open Day (NMOD) is an annual, nationwide event inaugurated in 2014 – and 2024 promises to be the best in its 10-year history.
The iconic Masjid Ali Bin Abi Taleb (Lakemba Mosque) at 61-65 Wangee Rd, Lakemba, is Australia’s most famous mosque and we would like to invite you to help us celebrate NMOD between 10am-2pm on Saturday 23, November.
