National Reconciliation Week - Public Lecture. Now more than ever, it is high time for greater investment in people, in pipelines of First Nations professionals, and in ‘place’.

The theme for National Reconciliation Week in 2024 is ‘Now More Than Ever’. Undoubtedly chosen in the wake of the Voice Referendum defeat last year, Reconciliation Australia explains that the theme “is a reminder to us all that, no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will – and must – continue”.

What does this rally call of ‘now more than ever’ mean for Charles Sturt University and the region in which we live, work, and play? Why ‘now more than ever’ for western New South Wales?

This will be the subject of the 2024 CSU Reconciliation Week Public Lecture.
