National Recycling Week: What Happens to Our Waste? (Family Event)

Ever wondered what happens to your recycling and rubbish after the truck drives away?

Join us at the Rethink Centre for a fun and interactive family event where you'll discover the journey of your household waste, see a working recycling factory in action, and learn simple ways to recycle right.

The afternoon will include recycling games and a viewing of the Materials Recovery Facility in action!

General notes: 

• The program is designed for Primary School aged children (5+). All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

• Close toe shoes must be worn at all times.

• Please bring your personal water bottle.

• If you're unwell on the day, please stay home to protect others.
