11:05am - Breaking Down Barriers: Improving Access to Advice and Support in Rural and Island Communities. Chris Nelson, Service Manager at Change Mental Health's National Advice and Support Service
Access to advice and support should not be determined by postcode. By understanding and addressing the distinct challenges of rural and island communities, we can create more accessible, responsive, and equitable services for everyone. Chris will touch on how the Service:
Ensures equitable access to advice and support services, regardless of geography.
Recognises the unique challenges faced by people living in rural and island locations.
Creates inclusive, person-centred services that improve outcomes, wellbeing, and social inclusion.
We will explore the role the National Advice and Support Service can play in tackling the big challenges.
12:00 Noon - Prevention, Connection and Impact: Insights from the Farmstrong Scotland Review - Alix Ritchie. Farmstrong Scotland Director
