National Wetlands Day with Port Bus to Cattai Wetlands & Saltwater Reserve

Tour Summary:
Celebrated annually on 2 February, World Wetlands Day aims to raise global awareness about the vital role of wetlands for people and the planet. The Day also marks the date of the adoption of the Convention on Wetlands on 2 February 1971, in the Iranian city of Ramsar on the shores of the Caspian Sea.
We visit two of our local wetlands today being Cattai Wetlands & Saltwater Wetlands.:
Cattai Wetlands, a beautiful coastal wetland and hidden gem of the Manning Valley. Cattai Wetlands provide a sanctuary for over 180 species of birds, kangaroos, wallabies, and regularly spotted goannas. We will make our way along with one of the many walking tracks, bird watching, relax and enjoy the scenery.

Itinerary:
Pickups will commence by 09:30. Our approximate arrival @ Cattai Wetlands is 10:30. Enjoy morning tea before the local Ranger arrives for our tour/talk. Pulling into Saltwater Reserve around 12:40 we will set up our picnic while you wander and enjoy the wildlife, serenity, and wetlands. Drop=offs should commence around 15:30.
