National Youth Homelessness Conference

The problem of ‘youth homelessness’ remains a persistent and troubling issue, exacerbated by the Covid-19 Pandemic crisis. During 2020, the weaknesses of our systems, programs and policies for young people were exposed.  

The 2021 National Youth Homelessness Conference is organised around a project to develop a National Strategy to End Youth Homelessness. 

By attending the National Youth Homelessness Conference, you will: 

• Engage with senior practitioners and policy makers on the emerging ideas in homelessness services
• Deepen your own knowledge base on youth homelessness
• Attend alongside young people with lived experience, CEOs, program managers, case workers and more - this conference is for all levels of experience and not exclusive to only a few
• Foster networks and connections with people in all areas of youth homelessness including nonprofits, government, philanthropy, educators, academics and more
• Contribute your own knowledge, ideas and experiences 
• Actively participate in sessions - this is not just a talking conference and plenty more

With all funds raised going towards the national strategy development project, attend NYHC2021 confidently knowing your ticket will have an impact on the future of youth homelessness in Australia.

Concession Tickets

Anyone aged 30 years and under, and concession cardholders are eligible for the concession rate.

Scholarships

We will be offering a number of scholarships to ensure that the financial cost of attending is not a barrier. If you would like to apply for a scholarship please click here. 

Please note that scholarships applications close on Friday 11 June. 

Bulk Orders

Please note that when placing bulk orders you will need to have the details of each attendee on the order; only the person who makes the purchase can edit the order, other attendees on the order cannot edit it. 

If you would like to make a bulk purchase but do not have the details of all attendees on the order please email help@yda.org.au.

Payment on Invoice

Orders can be paid for via invoice, just go through the ticket registration process, and at the end select an invoice as your payment option and fill in the invoice details.
