Event description

Join us for an amazing afternoon discovering native bees. 

We will go for a walk in the gardens to find native bees and learn about some of the different species we have in our region. Learn how to identify bees from wasps and other insects and help us build a native bee hotel. Discover the habitat and plants that native bees need and help us plant a garden to attract them. 

Suitable for all ages. Children need to be accompanied by an adult. 

Accessible for wheelchair users in dry weather and can be adapted to different abilities.

Workshop will be cancelled if it rains.
