Native Bee Walk with Dr Kit Prendergast at Baigup Wetlands
Description
Get your cameras and phones ready for a bee spotting adventure with Dr Kit 'Bee Babette' Prendergast. Held at Baigup Wetland, Dr Kit has previously conducted surveys here, so it's a known spot for native bees. With the area being revegetated, this is a fantastic opportunity to hone your bee spotting skills, learn what plants are great bee attractors, and add an extra level to your wildflower walks.

Dr Kit Prendergast is the WA Early-Career Scientist of the Year and WA Young Tall Poppy. She has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles, and has worked with City of Bayswater documenting the biodiversity of native bees across the council's greenspaces and advise on restoration targeting native bees to ensure Bayswater is a thriving native bee friendly council.
This workshop is proudly brought to you by Enviro House and the City of Bayswater
