Fri, 14 Nov, 7pm - 8:30pm NZDT

Event description

Join both Canadian First Nations Medicine Man, Lionheart Eaglespirit, and Marliese/Wild Horse on a sacred sound journey with the indigenous drum and native chanting!

In Native Traditions the drum is at the heart of ritual, ceremony, dance and journeying. The drum beat lifts the veil between our world of the living and the spirit world, acting as a bridge between these two worlds, connecting us to the Sacred Mystery/Great Spirit/Creator.

The drum beat is the heart beat of the Earth Mother, the rumble of molten rock and lava, and the voice of Creator!

In Indigenous Teachings, Summer represents the Spirit of the South within the Medicine Wheel, which is all about taking action, following Spring after Winter hibernation!

What to Expect:

Doors will open at 7:00pm for a 7:15pm start. In upholding the native, traditional ways, you will arrive in sacred silence where you will be smudged with Canadian sage for clearing and blessing. There will be an opportunity after the ceremony for sharing while the sacred Eagle feather is passed around.

What to Bring:

  • Gift exchange - $46

  • Blankets, pillows for your comfort

  • Eye mask

  • Drink bottle

Yeha Noha / Blessings.
