Part of the Ngadyung Program
Join Aaron Chatfield from Dreamtime Connections to learn about Indigenous native plant use and traditional tools, while learning how to plant a bushtucker garden and look after our natural environment and waterways. Includes an hour of discussion and information, followed by an hour planting out a small bushtucker garden. Presented in partnership with Icon Water.Â
About the Facilitator
Aaron Chatfield is the owner operator of Dreamtime Connections which he has built as a valuable business that shares Indigenous Culture and native foods with the broader community, especially schools. His vision is for every school to have a bush tucker garden!

Catering
Afternoon tea will be provided, including tea, coffee and light refreshments.
Event accessibility
Gungaderra Homestead has wheelchair access and access to bathrooms and kitchen facilities.
The Gungaderra Community Garden where the practical part of the workshop will be held is on uneven ground and grass.
Safety
This event will be held outdoors. We suggest you bring along a drink bottle, sun protection and enclosed footwear, as well as clothing you're happy to do some light gardening in.
