Cine Foro Society is back with a party and art exhibition at Victoria Park!

We are Cine Foro Society, a non-profit group dedicated to showcasing independent Latin American cinema to Auckland’s Spanish-speaking community. Last year, we launched New Zealand’s first and only Spanish-language film club, and now we’re back to unveil our new logo and celebrate the beginning of our second year.

We are thrilled and proud to share our new, refreshed (and incredibly stylish logo) with you. But that’s not all!  We've also got an amazing art exhibition lined up, featuring two talented Latin artists:

🎨 Alejandra Pérez Curti : Alex's passion for painting and birds has led to works that explore the connection between nature and humanity, blending the earthly with the spiritual. Her pieces, ranging from realistic to surrealistic, delve into the unconscious through birds, symbols, and the feminine essence as a source of divine inspiration.

✨ Camila Fukushima – Inspired by outer space, her artwork captures the vastness of the universe—the movement of the cosmos, the Milky Way, stars, gases, and nebulae. The breathtaking New Zealand sky constantly fuels her creativity.

Then, the night continues with an epic party, featuring an amazing DJ lineup:

All set in the iconic 1905 Victoria Park villa, with art, music, drinks, and delicious pizzas from Lollo’s Pizzas. What more could you ask for?
