Natural Capital Planning - Understanding the natural assets of your property

This workshop is an outstanding opportunity to gain a deeper understanding about your land, its natural assets and how managing these assets supports productive, resilient landscapes. Join us on the day to:

• Refresh your understanding of your catchment, its natural assets, and its limitations.

• Learn about natural capital and ecosystem services.

• Learn about key ecosystem processes, including river processes and dynamics.

• Set goals and develop an action plan with the support of tailored property-scale planning resources.

• Connect with other landholders in your catchment.

What you will learn

• how past land management has shaped the landscape we see today

• better understand your land to improve both the ecological condition and the productive potential.

• identify opportunities to improve the health and function of natural areas

• gain skills to assess and read landscape processes and functions.

Course delivery: 19 November 9:00 am to 3.30 pm
