Natural Perfume Workshop
Event description
natural perfume workshop, hosted in the salt room at Re/Wind.
Replace hormone disrupting perfumes by crafting your own pure essential oil perfume roller.
Why is swapping out perfume to a low tox alternative important?
The term fragrance is a blanket term for 1000s of toxic chemicals, none of which have to be disclosed on an ingredient list due to 'trade secret' protection on scents. Fragrances commonly contain phthalates, chemicals found in plastic, that help the scents last longer. Phthalates are
linked to breast cancer, developmental delay, lowered IQ, skin irritation, adverse reproductive outcomes in both women and men, type Il diabetes and insulin resistance, obesity and allergies.
During this workshop you will learn about chemical awareness and what to look out for, the impact of perfume on our hormones and how to make your own essential oil roller perfume with therapeutic grade 100% pure essential oils.
The workshop will take place in the Re/Winds luxurious Salt Room. Salt therapy has been known to provide healing benefits for respiratory conditions, skin irritations, and stress relief. It's a heavenly experience that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and renewed.
WORKSHOP INCLUDES:
- craft 2 x essential oil perfume rollers to take home
