Nature by Night at Crusoe Reservoir
Description
Come and join us on a nocturnal wildlife wander at Crusoe Reservoir to look for Bendigo's creatures of the night!
Learn about the ecology and calls of some of the local nighttime animals. We will use spotlights to view animals that emerge once the sun goes down - possums, gliders, antechinus, insects and owls!
This event is suitable for all ages.
Meeting point: Crusoe Reservoir carpark off Crusoe Road, Kangaroo Flat.
What to bring: Wear enclosed shoes and warm, weather-appropriate clothing. Bring a torch / head torch, and binoculars if you have them.
Walking and accessibility: We will be walking approximately 1.8-2km on unsealed paths
Note: This event is weather-dependent and may be cancelled if poor weather conditions are forecast.
