Nature Connection Walk with Ivie from Wild Forest, Calm Mind

Dru Point Bicentennial Park, Dru Point Rd, Margate

Join us in the lead-up to the Tasmanian Nature Festival for a special nature experience!
We will begin with a gentle grounding exercise allowing participants to slow down, arrive in the present moment and tune into the sights, sounds and subtle rhythms of the surrounding environment. These practices are calm and meditative, inviting a sense of stillness, awareness and connection.
Following this, we will take a relaxed and mindful walk around Dru Point pausing along the way to notice the details of nature - textures, colours, movements and seasonal changes. Gentle prompts will be offered to support your awareness and deepen your experience, while still allowing space for personal reflection and exploration at your own pace.
Please note: This is not a guided hike or educational lecture, but rather an invitation to move slowly, observe and connect with nature in a mindful, non-judgemental and welcoming space. No prior experience is necessary.
Attendees are advised to bring:
- A bottle of water.
- Dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
