Nature Conservation Council of NSW Annual Conference 2024
Event description
The Nature Conservation Council of NSW will host its Annual Conference and AGM on Saturday 16th November 2024.
Being part of the environment movement in 2024 is not without it's challenges. We are fighting for nature and climate on many fronts and our opponents are powerful and well-resourced.
We have big historical wins, a lot of skills, and a lot of enthusiasm. But to be able to win the scale of change we need, we will have to reach new audiences and bring in new people.
This is not something we say lightly: it will require a shift in our priorities and our skillsets.
That's why the theme for this year's NCC Annual Conference is "Branching out: growing the movement for nature" and we want you to be a part of this big conversation.
Join us on Saturday 16th November for a day of panels, workshops, and important discussions. We will have other sessions allowing us to connect and learn from others in NSW's amazing and diverse movement for nature.
Inspiring speakers from our member group network and movement will share with us stories, reflections and lessons about the skills needed to grow our groups and further our reach.
