Nature Conservation Council of NSW Annual Conference 2025
Event description
Join us in the heart of Sydney for a special edition of the Nature Conservation Council of NSW’s Annual Conference, marking 70 years of protecting nature.
We'll gather at Greenhouse Climate Tech Hub at Salesforce Tower (a fantastic venue with gorgeous harbour views) to connect, reflect and look ahead. The day will include:
Morning: NCC's director election, consideration of member group motions and introductory speeches
Afternoon: Inspiring speakers, campaign updates and practical workshops
Evening: An NCC birthday celebration, networking drinks and post-conference dinner
Throughout the day: Opportunities to meet, learn, and network with environmental leaders, organisers, and community members from across NSW
You can choose to attend for the full day (including the formal proceedings) or half day (if you’d like to join for the speakers and workshops only).
The conference theme will reflect on NCC’s legacy while exploring the future of environmental advocacy in NSW – stay tuned for the full program.
Ticket price includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, and opportunities for networking and meeting others working on similar issues.
When: Saturday 18 October, 2025
Time: 12pm - 5pm (with the NCC Formal Business starting at 9am sharp) with regular breaks and food provided.
Where: Greenhouse Climate Tech Hub Level 3, 180 George Street Sydney and online
Accessibility Requirements: Our venue is accessible by wheelchair with lift access from George St and Pitt St. The space is also equipped with a Hearing Augmentation System, and has quiet spaces available. NCC is proud to offer free attendance to First Nations people and those under 25.
Formal Proceedings Details:
NCC will conduct formal business from 9-12pm to pass Member Group motions and elect our Board in the morning before conference proceedings.
We ask you to please arrive at 8:30am for a 9am start.

For NCC Member Groups, your entitlement to (voting) delegates is based on your membership status and/or number of members. If you have not renewed your membership, please contact us as soon as possible.
