Nature Inspirations connects arts and health to help you relax, in a serious way!
Part forest bathing, part art therapy.
Join us for for an eco-antidote in the tranquility of the Gold Coast Hinterland. Use a range of simple creative activities to slow down and open up your senses for deeper and inspiring nature filled experiences.
Soak in the atmosphere of the rainforest, walk at a leisurely pace, listen to the sounds of the trees, give voice to your experiences and feelings and let nature inspire you.

The sessions run over two days starting at 9.30 am and finishing at 1.30 pm with a picnic lunch each day. The activities will be lead by qualified and experienced Arts and Health facilitators.
About the facilitators:
Dr Karleen Gwinner is the Director of Hand Bent Banana. She has decades of training, research and experience at the nexus of arts and health- playing with the social glue that binds us through the dynamics of creativity.
Vera Balsemao and Rachel Clarkin are undergraduate students of Bachelor of Arts Therapy. Both bring a wealth of life experience and knowledge of creative health and wellbeing.
What to expect:
- Each day, enjoy an easy to follow 4 hour session in a private peaceful landscape
- Imaginative art activities include watercolour painting, mixing bold bright colours, nature collage and more
- Express and discover new experiences
