Inspired by Nature
Description
Macquarie University's Australian Harmony Centre for Ecosystem Futures invites you to join us for a special event exploring how nature inspires innovation, wellbeing and positive change.
The Australian Harmony Centre for Ecosystem Futures is a groundbreaking initiative led by Macquarie University in partnership with the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance (CBA), an initiative established by His Majesty King Charles III. The Centre brings together scientists, Indigenous leaders, industry, and local communities to co-design nature-first solutions that connect people to nature, regenerate ecosystems and support human wellbeing for Australia, the Asia-Pacific and the World.
The afternoon will begin at 3:30pm with a series of engaging talks from leading voices in research and practice:
Professor Peter Davies, Director, Australian Harmony Centre for Ecosystem Futures
Professor Andrew Parker, Founder and CEO, Lifescaped
Professor Nathan Hart, Co-founder, Kraken Systems
Distinguished Professor Ian Paulsen, Director, ARC Centre of Excellence in Synthetic Biology
Light refreshments will be served from 5:30pm, followed by a screening at 6:00pm of Becoming Nature Positive, a new 30-minute film exploring the global nature-positive agenda and its implications for policy, business, finance and communities. You can view the trailer here!
