FREE trial children's nature journaling workshop

I am offering a free trial nature journaling session for children and their accompanying adult at Braeside Park. In exchange, I’ll ask for some written feedback and some photos (e.g., pages created, hands or children from behind, no faces) for advertising.

Our nature journaling sessions are designed to encourage children’s curiosity and creativity, in a fun and relaxed way. We explore the environment around us and then settle on the ground to capture what we have noticed on our individual pages.

• Suitable for all ages, but probably best for 8 years and up (but you know your child/ren best)
• Children select what they are interested in and are supported with suggestions on how to journal about it. 
• All journaling supplies provided (but BYO any favourites, if you wish)
• Children to be accompanied by an adult for the duration
• Take home the pages you create

Bring / wear

• shoes and clothing suitable to be outdoors for the session (including sun hat and/or waterproof jacket)
• water bottle and any desired snacks
• any preferred art supplies (but everything provided)

About me

• I am a certified Nature Journaling Educator, have been teaching adults at various locations, including for the Friends of Royal Botanic Gardens, and wanting to extend this to younger people.
