Event description

In collaboration with local naturalist Teresa Skye, Friends of the Amargosa Basin is hosting a nature journaling workshop in Shoshone, CA on November 9th, 2025. 

 

This event is FREE, but will be limited to 20 pre-registered participants. It will start at 9:00am and go on until 12:30pm and will involve professional instruction and a field walk.

 

Come learn a new artistic skill and experience the limitless inspiration that the natural beauty of the Amargosa Basin provides! All skill levels welcome. Instructional materials will be provided. Lunch will be up to participants, though light snacks and refreshments will be provided. 

Registered participants will receive more information prior to date of the workshop, including an outline of the day's program, information on what to expect in the area, and what to bring to the event.
