Nature Mentors Workshop: Indigenous Plants
Event description
Join the Bellarine Catchment Network for our upcoming Nature Mentors Workshop at the beautiful Barwon Coast Discovery Centre. This engaging and informative session offers participants the chance to deepen their understanding of the natural environment by learning to identify local Indigenous plant species and exploring their vital role in supporting the region’s unique ecology.
Whether you're an aspiring environmental educator, a community volunteer, or simply passionate about nature, this workshop provides valuable skills and insights to support ecological stewardship and biodiversity conservation in the Bellarine region.
This workshop would not be possible without funding from the City of Greater Geelong and support from Friends of the Lobster Pot and Barwon Coast.
Network members can request to have additional items covered in this workshop. To do so, please email naomi@bcn.org.au.
Bellarine Catchment Network acknowledges the Wadawurrung, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community.
We are committed to ensuring that everyone is treated with dignity and respect regardless of their ability, cultural background, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, intersex status or sexual orientation.
