Nature Playgroup Spring Sessions 2025 @ CERES Brunswick East
Event description
Designed for children 2-5 years old accompanied by a guardian. Older siblings are welcome to come along too!
Join us for our special series of Nature Play Spring Sessions!
Come along to CERES Environment Park in Brunswick East, where our experienced early years outdoor educators will guide you and your little one through playful, hands-on experiences designed to spark curiosity, build confidence outdoors, and deepen connection with the natural world. Together, we’ll slow down, tune into the seasons, and explore the wonders of our local winter ecology.
Day 1 - Growing a Garden 🌱
Mon 29th September 10am - 12pm
Dig in and discover the joy of growing! Kids will get hands-on in the garden, learning how seeds, soil and sunshine come together to bring plants to life.
Day 2 - Nature Crafts 🌻
Tues 30th September 10am - 12pm
From leaves to twigs, natural treasures become works of art. Children will explore creative ways to craft with nature’s palette and take home their own eco creations.
Day 3 - Forest Kids – Bush Tools & Shelters ᨒ
Wed 1st October 10am - 12pm
Step into the wild and learn the skills of a forest adventurer. Our educator will guide kids through making simple bush tools and shelters, building confidence and connection to the land.
Day 4 - Wetland Wonders 𓆏
Thur 2nd October 10am - 12pm
Discover the hidden world of wetlands! From bugs to birds, kids will explore watery ecosystems, meet the creatures that call them home, and learn why wetlands are vital for life. (Psst… Pobblebonks may be heard!)
Day 5 - Flowers, Bees & Trees 🌸
Fri 3rd October 10am - 12pm
Celebrate spring blooms and buzzing pollinators. Children will learn how flowers, bees and trees work together to keep ecosystems thriving — and create their own pressed flower art to take home as a reminder to care for nature.
