NatureArt Lab Presents: Tulips in Pastel
Event description
In this workshop run by master pastellist Caroline Reid, learn how to paint a dazzling field of rich red tulips in semi-abstract style inspired by the plantings of Floriade. This workshop is suitable for beginners with no experience of soft pastels.
Caroline Reid is a contemporary landscape artist based in Canberra, on Ngunnawal Country in Australia. She draws deep inspiration from the rugged, semi-alpine terrain that surrounds her—flanked by mountain ranges to the east and west, and the Snowy Mountains to the south. Her work spans a variety of styles, from realism to impressionism, with a particular love for soft pastel and watercolour as her mediums of choice.
