Nature Forum 2024
Event description
The South Australian Government promised to stand up for nature and the protection of the environment prior to the last state election. This year's Nature Forum will take a close look at how they're tracking.
Join us for an afternoon nestled amongst the gorgeous trees in the south end of Victoria Park as we sit down with Deputy Premier and Environment Minister Susan Close to celebrate the election promises fulfilled and discuss when the remaining will be delivered.    Â

                             Â
Between 1pm-2pm & 4pm-5pm
The Conservation Community Fair will open from 1pm giving you a chance to meet and chat to local groups working on the ground to protect nature in South Australia. Find out what you can do to help.
Between 2pm-4pmÂ
A group of passionate young school students will kick things off with a plea to the Deputy Premier and Environment Minister Susan Close for action, followed by an expert panel discussion with the Deputy Premier to explore how the government is going with the delivery of key environmental policy commitments and keeping its promise to the South Australian community. The Forum will then be opened to questions from the floor. You can submit a question ahead of the day when you book your free ticket.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to hold our government to account!Â
We are delighted to share that Uncle Bunna Lawrie, lead vocalist from Coloured Stone, will be performing his music to close the event.
